WHY CODE ZERO® ?/WIFM?/REAL BENEFITS?
Why should I take a CODE ZERO® course?
What`s in it for me (WIFM)?
What are the REAL benefits of CODE ZERO® … THE BOTTOM LINE?
Everyone should ask these things and here are the answers…
PERSONAL/SOCIETY:
- CODE ZERO® SAVES LIVES: The skills taught in CODE ZERO® will have a profound effect on a driver’s ability to prevent a crash or collision. Let’s face it, ZERO crashes and collisions means ZERO deaths and injuries. PERIOD!
- CODE ZERO® PREVENTS INJURIES: Read above! This point is too important not to read again!
- 3. CODE ZERO® IMPROVES OVERALL DRIVING SKILLS: In addition to being a driver who has acquired potentially life-saving skills, a CODE ZERO® driver is a smooth, aware and predictable driver. The true value of these qualities lies not only in the effect it has on the CODE ZERO® driver and his/her passengers but for all those who share the road with him/her
- 4. CODE ZERO® IS ‘SERIOUS FUN’: While designed to save lives and prevent injuries, CODE ZERO® has been called the ‘Thrill of a Lifetime’. Its roots as a Police Driver-Training Course allows participants to experience the high-intensity, heart-pounding excitement of driving with the added stress and distraction of lights, sirens and two-way radio… Truly unforgettable!
FINANCIAL:
- LOWER INSURANCE COSTS: Basically speaks for itself… Fewer crashes and collisions = Lower Insurance premiums!
- LESS VEHICLE ABUSE: Smoothness and finesse behind the wheel translates to less wear and tear on a vehicle because nothing is done in a violent, abusive manner.
- LESS BRAKE WEAR: CODE ZERO® drivers look way down the road enabling them to anticipate the need to brake well in advance. The result is less severe braking and therefore less brake wear.
- LESS TIRE WEAR: Because of the skills taught to him/her, A CODE ZERO® driver will rarely, if ever, hear the tires making any noise! Screeching, howling tires means that the rubber is being worn off! (i.e. money down the drain!)
- BETTER FUEL ECONOMY: Probably, one of the most significant financial benefits of being a CODE ZERO® driver. The lessons of proper vision, steering and braking technique that are employed to avoid crashes and collisions, when used in everyday driving (as they should be!) will result in a much more fuel-efficient driver and vehicle… Much better for the environment too!!!
- TAX WRITE-OFF: Since CODE ZERO® is classified as an educational course, the fees are tax-deductible.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
A PROGRAM THAT LITERALLY PAYS YOU TO TAKE IT!
MENU ITEM… FAQ
QUESTION: Do I use my car or one of your cars for CODE ZERO® ?
ANSWER: Both. It’s important to use your own car for our skill-developing exercises since that is the car you normally drive and mastering the controls of that vehicle are most important for your own safety as well as the safety of others. You will be a passenger in one of our CODE ZERO® ‘Police Interceptor’ vehicles for the final exercise on our ‘Pursuit Course’ complete with lights, sirens and two-way radios. It is here that one of our trained instructors will take you for a thrilling, fault-free drive where all of the techniques you have been practicing are put to the test.
QUESTION: Are the driving exercises abusive to my vehicle?
ANSWER: Quite the contrary. First of all, nothing that you do in a CODE ZERO® course is designed to put any undue stress on a roadworthy vehicle. Secondly, one of the objectives of CODE ZERO® is to make you a smoother, more efficient driver. For one thing, after you have completed our driving exercises, you will have recognized the value of ‘high-aim vision’ which automatically allows you to anticipate situations well in advance. The result? Minimal sudden braking, much less swerving plus well-planned acceleration.
QUESTION: What if it rains?
ANSWER: Bring on the rain, please! Although most people prefer doing things in dry, sunny weather, the CODE ZERO® experience has for more value in slippery, wet conditions. Inclement weather put much more emphasis on proper vision, steering and braking technique when avoiding a potential crash or collision, making it the perfect learning environment. Besides you’re nice and dry in the car anyway. Our instructors are the ones who get wet!
QUESTION: I just started driving a short time ago, will CODE ZERO® help me?
ANSWER: Whether you’ve been driving for 6 months or 60 years, CODE ZERO® will help your driving. However, since our main objective is to help you avoid a crash or collision, some experience behind the wheel (minimum 6 months) is essential. Basic familiarity with the controls of your vehicle allows you to focus on the skills and techniques that we teach rather than how to maintain a certain speed or perhaps shift gears. We don’t teach you how to get your Driver’s Licence, we teach you how “to drive and survive”.
QUESTION: (FROM MANY PARENTS!) My son/daughter has been driving for less than a year and has already had (3) accidents. Can CODE ZERO® help?
ANSWER: In the vast majority of cases, Yes. Usually, there are two major factors that must be addressed in order to assist such a driver… Instilling COMPETENCE and building CONFIDENCE. Achieving both of these goals is a fundamental result of experiencing the CODE ZERO® program. The carefully designed driving exercises allow participants to practice proper and potentially life-saving driving techniques in a safe environment, immediately providing them with better driving skills. In turn, their improved abilities create a safer and more confident driver.
New CODE ZERO® Driving Video!
CODE ZERO® is something that translates best when we can show you rather than tell you. With the help of the film pros at Chateau Zoo Films, we’ve put together a new video that should get the point across about just how important this course can be to your safety and the safety of others.
As you can see, CODE ZERO® not only gives you the skills that you need “to Drive and Survive” but it’s also a truly exciting driving experience.
