Launched in May of 2007, the program was offered to the general public by the Justice Institute of BC. The program is named CODE ZERO® due to its well-developed roots as a police driver training program. This brand new, one-of-a-kind program provides many special benefits to its participants.

In addition to being extremely low-cost, the short but concise CODE ZERO advanced driving programs feature lessons and exercises that teach many potentially life-saving skills. As well, those taking the course experience the “thrill of a lifetime” during the heart-pounding “Finale”.

“We are truly excited about the public experiencing the enormous benefits of CODE ZERO® ” says AL Lund, director of PTEC (Pacific Traffic Education Centre, a division of the Justice Institute of BC). “For many years we have been teaching future Police Officers essential, life-saving driving skills and now we have the opportunity to pass those skills and techniques on to others. Plus,” he adds, “As part of the course, participants are able to experience first-hand, the intensity of “Emergency Response”.

Presently, CODE ZERO® courses are offered in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, Canada through the Justice Institute of British Columbia.  Other locations will be opening in Spring 2011.
